It is with extreme sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Elias Benavides.

Elias was a devoted husband to Jeannette and father to two beautiful children, Oliver 5 and Isabella 2. Elias will always be remembered as a kind and good hearted person to those he met along the way. He positively impacted the lives of many in Canada and Nicaragua.

Elias passed away on September 22, 2021 in Managua, Nicaragua a week after he had been taken to the hospital.

We are raising money to help support Elias family in Nicaragua as his passing was completely unexpected.
