Our beloved Dr. Charlene Curtis-Thomas unexpectedly passed away on June 3, 2023. Dr. Curtis-Thomas, known to many as Charlie was a wonderful daughter, sister, friend, and colleague who touched so many lives.

Charlie was a beacon of light. She was full of life and happiness. She was an incredibly hardworking and dedicated human being. Charlie would give the shirt off her back to help anyone - which made her decision to go into medicine an easy one. Dr. Curtis - Thomas dedicated her life to medicine and was a rising 3rd-year Internal Medicine resident physician at Nassau University Medical Center.

We are all devastated by Dr. Curtis- Thomas's loss. Due to the untimely nature of her passing, our family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give our precious Charlie girl the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our "see you laters" to her. Please help my aunt and our family during this very tough time, anything helps.
