Our community is experiencing an unimaginable loss with the sudden and unexpected passing of David Lauzon on Friday, June 27, 2025. David leaves behind his beloved wife, Sandra, fur babies: Pantheon, Arya, Gideon, Percy and Tater Tot, as well as his corgi's: Watson and Sadie.

David was a devoted husband, adored fur lord, cherished son, caring brother, and amazing friend. His passion for table top games, his Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons sessions, and his video gaming sessions, were unmatched. David was involved with the Kappa Sigma fraternity, as well as a beloved member of the Burning Man community. David had a way about him, where he could connect with anyone, and even in a short interactions, make a lasting impression. His quick wit and snark were his strengths, and he was always ready to lend a hand when needed, or cheer up a friend at any time.

David and Sandra contributed hard to their family. His sudden and unforeseen passing has therefore left not only a huge void in everyone's lives, but also a significant financial strain. Sandra was just back at her first week of work after going through radiation treatments for Breast Cancer, and they were just getting back on their feet. The proceeds from this fundraiser will help cover both immediate costs and ongoing costs from the arrangements, to daily expenses, to hidden costs to help Sandra get back on her feet. By easing the financial burden, we can help Sandra with time to properly grieve, as well as take time needed to adjust to life without David.

Unfortunately David passed without having life insurance or mortgage insurance and the burden laid upon Sandra is great because of this.
