In Memory of Connor Navarro

On June 23, 2026, 19-year-old Connor Navarro tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle home from training for an upcoming triathlon. A speeding driver ran a red light and struck Connor, taking his life in an instant.

Connor had just celebrated his 19th birthday in May. He was brilliant, hardworking, kind, and deeply loved by everyone who knew him. As his class valedictorian, he had an incredibly bright future ahead of him. He had just begun a new externship the day before and was excited for everything that lay ahead. He loved running, playing board games, spending time with his girlfriend, and had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel welcome.

This unimaginable loss comes just 18 months after Connor’s father, Philip, died from brain cancer. While still grieving the loss of his dad, Connor quietly stepped into a role no teenager should ever have to fill. He became a source of strength for his family, helping care for his younger brothers and supporting his mom in countless ways. He simply loved his family and showed up for them every day.

He should have had decades ahead of him. Instead, everything he had worked so hard for was taken away in a single, preventable moment.

This is a tremendous loss for a family already carrying profound grief.

As Charli, Ethan, and Liam navigate this unimaginable loss, donations will help ease the financial burden they now face. Contributions will help cover funeral expenses, a memorial bench in Connor’s honor at Orenco Woods Nature Park, and the unexpected expenses that come with such a sudden tragedy.

If you’re able to give, thank you. If not, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the Navarro family in your thoughts and prayers. Every act of kindness reminds them they are not walking through this heartbreak alone.
