In Loving Memory of Bahja Ali
We are raising £20,000 to build a masjid in Bahja’s name as sadaqah jariyah a form of ongoing charity that continues to benefit her in the hereafter. A place of prayer, reflection, and community. A place where every prayer offered, every verse recited, and every moment of peace becomes a source of reward for her.
There are some lives that leave a permanent imprint. Bahja was one of them.
She was warmth, she was laughter, she was presence. The kind of person you gravitated towards without thinking. To know her was to feel understood, to feel at ease, to feel at home.
We grew up together. We shared meals, long walks, and the kind of conversations that only exist between people who trust each other completely. In crowded rooms, she was always the one we found. The one we returned to. She was home in human form.
Her passing has left a space that cannot be filled. But we believe in carrying her forward in a way that reflects who she was and what she deserves.
We are also committed to using this platform to raise awareness about Type 1 Diabetes. This is not just about remembrance, but about advocacy. Too many young people live with serious health conditions without the understanding or support they need, especially within education. We want to be part of changing that by encouraging awareness, compassion, and better support systems for students.
This fundraiser is not just about loss. It is about continuation.
It is about ensuring that Bahja’s name is tied to something that gives, long after she is gone. That her legacy is one of care, faith, and impact.
If you are able to give, in any amount, know that you are contributing to something lasting. If you are not, sharing this page means just as much.
For as long as this masjid stands, for as long as people benefit, she lives on.
