My cousin Anthony Oke was only 22 years old when his life was tragically taken on January 20, 2026, in Nigeria. Anthony was bright, vibrant, and full of life. He had a naturally funny and kind personality, and he brought joy to everyone around him. One of the things he loved most was singing, and he wasn’t afraid to dream big.
Anthony dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and was working hard toward building a better future for himself and his family. He was also a part-time military trainee, showing discipline, courage, and a desire to serve.
Tragically, Anthony was brutally murdered in Nigeria, shot just two minutes away from his home. His death was sudden, shocking, and deeply painful for our entire family.
Anthony leaves behind his mother, father, and three siblings, as well as grieving aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who are struggling to come to terms with this devastating loss. We are raising funds to help cover funeral and burial costs and to support his family during this incredibly difficult time.
Any amount—no matter how small—will help. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping our family in your prayers. Thank you for helping us honor Anthony’s life and give him the farewell he deserves.
