In Loving Memory of Andrey Okunev

Dear friends, on September 5th, we tragically lost Andrey Okunev, an 18-year-old soldier, during a training accident at Fort Leonard Wood. Andrey was a bright part of our Belmont Shore, Lowell, Rogers, Sato, and Long Beach community.

This sudden loss has left Andrey’s family, including parents and three siblings, as well as all who are friends of this beautiful family, heartbroken. We all want to give our deepest condolences and would like to help out his family in facing such a tragedy.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time by giving the family space to grieve without added stress. It's the least we can do to help out now.

Andrey will always be remembered for his kindness and great personality. Even though his time was far too short, Andrey made a lasting impact on those around him.

Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will be directly given to Andrey's family.
