I have had the privilege of knowing the Shaw family for years and lucky enough to call Amy a friend. Amy was the most kind, thoughtful and generous person. She had compassion and empathy for all and always showed up for her friends and family. She was a champion for many, always willing to help another person, volunteer in our community and schools and was incredibly dedicated to her family and friends. Her positive attitude and her incredible spirit were infectious. She was an extraordinary human being and nurse but what was most important to her was her family and close friends. She was an exceptional mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by so many. On January 27, 2026 she was suddenly taken from us and left behind her family with a void that is unimaginable, painful and truly tragic. The days ahead will be incredibly difficult and something no one should have to endure. I am fundraising for Andrew, Jack and Caroline to offset the financial burden that will inevitably come with this horrific loss. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
