In Loving Memory of Allie Casso

With a heavy heart, I'd like to introduce myself and this fundraiser - My name is Natiera Martinez (Casso), and I am Kate and Allie Casso's niece. I have created this fundraiser to help support my precious Aunt Katie as she moves forward in life without her beloved Allie. If you're acquainted with them, you'll know just how difficult this time will be for her. Let's wrap our arms around her in every way possible.

On the morning of September 8th our family, and the world, lost a Giant of a man. Allie was a devoted Husband of 48 years. Think about that for a moment... living nearly half a century beside someone... What a blessing!! Al was a proud and loving Father of two and Grandfather of seven. He was also a favorite Uncle to countless nieces and nephews.

He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, perhaps with a fishing pole in hand or a game on TV and road trips with his beloved Kate were his lifelong joy! In my experience, he was always ready to lend a hand with a smile for anyone who needed it. I don't think I've ever known a more hardworking, good-natured man in my life. He and my Aunt Katie have cared for so many people in so many different ways. Family (myself included), neighbors, friends, congregation members, and even strangers have felt the warmth of their support and friendship.

So let us all come together and give some of that back, shall we? Allie worked his entire life tirelessly, but the practical impacts of his passing can't be ignored. As Katie finds her footing in this new chapter of life, let's give what we can to ease the financial concerns for a bit.
