It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved, Alex Gonzalez. Alex was a strong, kind, loving and incredibly generous individual who's memory will forever live on in our hearts. Alex, unfortunately, spent the last several years battling a painful liver disease. Thankfully, he was not alone as his girlfriend and lifetime partner, Rachel, remained by his side throughout a barrage of doctor's appointments, treatments and lengthy hospital stays as they anxiously awaited a necessary liver transplant. Heartbreakingly, Alex succumbed to his disease on September 1, 2025, at the young age of 48. While both Alex and Rachel kept true to the promise they both made to love and support one another through sickness and health, good times and bad, too often we do not consider the financial burden placed on a loved one should a partner suddenly pass on. Due to this tragic loss, Rachel and their fur baby, Fozzie, are now faced with this economic challenge. This has not only resulted in an enormous financial strain attributed to loss of income, but worse, the loss of their home. We are reaching out to our community to urgently ask for your support by helping Rachel and Fozzie during this tremendously difficult time.
