Hello, my name is Michelle Lakeman, and I am writing on behalf of my sister, Devra Lindsay. With a tender and broken heart, I share that her beloved husband, Adam Lindsay, passed peacefully into the Heavenly realms on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at 9:01 PM. On that evening, Adam—our mighty warrior of faith—was carried home into the arms of his Savior and his beloved mum Val.

Adam was diagnosed in February 2024 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) with chromosome deletions. It was a devastating blow, yet he faced it with courage and unwavering faith. Later that year, his treasured sister Laura became his perfect donor match for a bone marrow transplant—an extraordinary act of love that will forever be cherished. It was a gift of hope, courage, and sacrifice that showed the strength of family and the depth of love surrounding Adam in his fight.

For a time, we believed Adam was on the road to healing. But when the leukemia returned, more aggressive and resistant, Adam and Devra pressed on with resilience and faith until his earthly battle ended.

Adam fought with strength and determination that inspired everyone who walked this journey with him. Devra stood faithfully by his side every step of the way—through long days of transfusions, inpatient stays, and the endless rhythm of treatment.

Devra has dedicated her life to helping others find health and healing through their wellness center. She poured everything into caring for Adam, stepping back from her work so she could be by his side with unwavering faith and profound love.

This GoFundMe has been created to give Devra the space and support she needs to grieve and physically recover until she is able to return to work. The expenses of Adam’s cremation, outstanding medical bills, and ongoing household needs remain, and any support from family, friends, and community during this time would be a true blessing.
