In honour of my nana

I am doing this fundraiser in honour of my late nana Dinah Bray. She unfortunately suffered from dementia and spent the last 4 years of her days being cared for primarily by my mother here in France. She didn’t know who we were or where she was most of the time but we still often saw glimmers of her former self, enjoyed many laughs and made memories we will never forget. It wasn’t an easy task or a smooth 4 years but we wouldn’t change it for second and are happy we got to give her the best care possible right until the end. Anyone who has been touched by dementia or Alzheimer’s will know how difficult it can be on a family and I wish everyone luck who’s dealing with it now or will have to in the future. In honour of my nana I want to donate some money to the Alzheimer society of Ireland, Alzheimer’s research UK, Dementia UK & potentially a few others that were dear to her once we have seen her wishes in her will. I want to not only help donate to search for a cure but to also help give support to people who aren’t as lucky as my nana was to have family to care for them. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
