In Honor of Emma — Supporting the Ones She Loved Most

Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the sudden loss of our beloved friend, co-worker, sister, and mother — Emma.

Emma wasn’t just loved — she was felt. Everywhere she went, she left her mark.

She was a woman with unmatched energy, a sharp tongue when needed, and a love so deep it wrapped around anyone lucky enough to know her. Emma was light and grit. She gave endlessly — whether that was her time, her advice, or her last bit of energy — and she didn’t play about the people she loved. She showed up. Loudly. Boldly. Unapologetically.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

This GoFundMe is being created to support Emma’s children — Kaneshia, Lucious, Falanda, Aaliyah, and Darius — as well as her beloved grandchildren, Majestic, Jade, and Lyndell. With her sudden passing, they’re facing the unimaginable. Our goal is to help cover rent, bills, and any memorial arrangements they may need. We want to give them space to breathe, grieve, and begin to heal without the added weight of financial stress.

Emma poured into all of us in her own unforgettable way — whether it was through her care, her presence, or just being the kind of person who made you feel like family. Let’s come together and give something back to the woman who gave so much.
