In Honor of Courtney Anne Murray

Our Loss

 

Courtney Anne Murray, 40, mother of two beautiful children, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, October 22, 2021. She entered the hospital only 10 days earlier because she wasn't feeling well... and then she was gone. Taken by an extremely rare, fast-moving, and aggressive cancer that stunned everyone, including her Oncologists. No one had the time to process her shocking diagnosis.
Devastated seems a hollow word for this tragedy.

A fierce and passionate mother, she is survived by her two incredible children - Ava, 14 and Thiago, 12. It was our honor to watch her raise them during the time she had - they are smart, athletic, funny (like their mother) and most importantly, kind.

 

Through her short 40 years, she was the bright spot in so many other lives - family & friends were drawn in by her warmth, shielded by her protective nature, and consumed with her infectious sense of humor.

 

Her community was rewarded with her involvement - volunteering, marching for causes she believed in, and as one of the most intelligent people we know- every company she worked for benefitted from her brilliance and commitment.

 

Our Promise

 

It takes a village.

Like us all, her children were the center of her whole world. We've set up this account to assist in giving them every opportunity that she would have given them. We will fall short no matter how hard we try.

But we have to try.

 

Her family & friends only want to see that her children have the life they were promised. That they stay in their sports and other extra curriculars, that they don't miss out on field trips, that they have money for college, as well as counseling to help them through this loss.

 

Our Hope

 

Her tribe promised her that we will do all that we can. And sometimes that means asking for help.

There aren't enough words in this moment, or any moment, for the rest of our lives.

Because of that, we have opened her Instagram (publicly) so that you can view for yourselves the amazing children she raised and the beautiful life she built.
