In the holiday spirit, I’m trying to raise some money for Kiwanis in honor of my grandpa Cliff Canaday who passed away back in August. For those who knew Cliff, he had a heart of steel and a passion for community service. He was the founder and president of the Kiwanis Club of Bolingbrook and Romeoville. He started 2 key clubs for local high schools and 5 Kiwanis Builders Clubs. Among many thing he also volunteered many hours coordinating Kiwanis “Peanut Days”. He often brought along a lot of his grandchildren.
Kiwanis is a wonderful organization that meant a lot to him. Their mission is “improving the world one child and one community at a time”
Cliff was an amazing community member and person. I know he has inspired and loved so many people. I set a goal of 500$ and 100% of profits will go directly to Kiwanis. I will be so grateful for any donations and will be filling the gap myself!
Happy holidays!
