In Memory of Ashanti Macon: A Future For Her Children

My name is Ashley Macon, and I’m the aunt of five incredible children under the age of 12 who are now facing life without their mother, Ashanti Macon, who was tragically killed by gun violence on July 15, 2025, in Macon, GA.

Their mother was a bright, loving soul—her entire world revolved around her children. Her sudden loss has shattered our family and left her children navigating unimaginable grief and uncertainty.

I’m organizing this fundraiser to ensure these children are cared for emotionally, financially, and physically as they adjust to this heartbreaking new reality. As their aunt, I will personally manage the donations with full transparency, love, and responsibility.
