Toby Desmond Costa Rica 2019 Operation Raleigh

Hello my name is Toby and I am going on a volunteering trip to Costa Rica with operation Raleigh during my Gap year with the intention of helping  accessibility to conservation areas and  education in local villages.
Any funds will provide me with the money necessary to go on this expedition in 6 weeks time.
This funding will go to an amazing cause, helping the locals receive the education necessary and improving the access to conservation areas that are home to various species of plant and fauna which are in need of protection.
These donations will not only help the lives and existence of these people and the habitats that surround them but will enable me to personally be involved in this. This will serve as an eye opening experience for me where  I will learn about the problems that surround these people and  it will give me a taste of the real world and what challenges these people face.
I hope  I will learn new valuable life lessons and with your amazing support I will have the chance to make a difference.
