Improve the kindy in Fiji where I'll be volunteering

I'll be volunteering to assist kindy teachers in Sigatoka, Fiji for a couple of weeks from 28 July.

This program helps the kindy teachers by caring for kids, organising activities, teaching some english and building the confidence of young Fijian kids (and showing them a thing or two about Oz).

Our early years are the most formative and set the foundation for our emotional health for the rest of our lives. In Fiji, not every child has access to the same support and luxuries many of us have had. Classrooms are often very full and more help affords the best developmental experience for kids.

I am subsidising my participation in the program, however, I thought some loved ones may want an opportunity to contribute to a group donation I'll make when I am there. I will ensure this is made direct to the kindy and used to meet its most immediate needs e.g. repairs or to boost its educational resources.

There is no pressure - if you want to get involved, simply the cost of a coffee would be gladly received.
