Implant Removal fundraiser for detransitioner

Donation protected
Hi there, Many of you know me from my Tiktok videos, some of you know me in real life, and many of you have never heard of me. My name is Austin, I'm 41 years old, and I am a former male to female back to male Detransitioner. I grew up in the Assemblies of God and went to Christian school, but never felt like I fit in because of my own issues with gender and sexuality. I started transitioning at 19 back in 2001. my life has been full of gender identity struggles, and I struggled to find peace in my body even after I made a full transition. It wasn't until I became a Christian again in 2020 that I started to finally feel relief from my gender identity disorder. over the last year I have started the detransition process, documenting it and talking about issues that detransitioners face on Tiktok. The support from people throughout this process has been such an incredible blessing. Being embraced by my home Church and being rebaptized has helped me to stand firm in truth throughout this process. I have received so much love and support from strangers that it far outweighs some of the negative reactions from people I knew in my former life. I started taking Testosterone this summer and the mental relief that has brought me has been outstanding and fills me with gratitude and awe. I finally feel like my body, my mind and my spirit are one with God and in that peace, I am ready to cross the threshold into the greatness that He has planned for me.

I recently saw a plastic surgeon in Scottsdale, Arizona about removing my Breast Implants and reconstructing my Chest to appear more masculine. The first and most important step in the process its to get these implants out, and to wear a compression garment for a few months to allow my skin to tighten and then after 6-12 months or so depending on how the skin heals we can reassess and see if an additional surgery for "gynecomastia" will be needed. I like that this doctor is taking a "less is more" approach instead of trying to upsell me on a whole FTM style "top surgery". He also seems really sympathetic to detransitioners, which I am Grateful for.

so here's the breakdown of what I am raising funds for:

the implant removal surgery is about $4,500
Labs and prescriptions will be around $400
Gas to and from scottsdale 2X is about $200
(once for surgery and once after 10 days to remove drains)

this is the core of what I am raising funds for, but if there is any extra funds I would love to use them for:

a hotel room the day of surgery so that I dont
have to ride in a car for several hours after anesthesia as I
have had issues with nausea and anesthesia in the past and
I don't want to ruin a friends upholstery ;-). $160

any additional funds would be used for food/snacks/ice cream etc and to give some money to a friend who will help caregive in the first few days as I won't be able to lift anything or use my arms much the first week after surgery. it is very hard for me to ask for help doing anything (especially this fundraiser!) and to have a little buffer in case any unknown expenses come up out of the blue.

Thank you SO MUCH for your support and prayers and Donating to this Gofundme and if you can't donate, that's OK! thank you for sharing this with your church, ministry or wherever you feel the Lord Directs you. Thank you and God bless you!!!
