Hello, I'm Lesia! AKA, "The Teen Whisperer" and "The crazy teen lady" and I wear those names proudly .
The number of people willing to work with at risk youth and families are few. You know, the kids no one wants to deal with...the families who are always struggling and subject of gossip in the neighborhood. Many have deemed them unreachable and unredeemable but not me!! I invest in, and mentor those youth and their families. In the words of Pope John Paul II “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” I empower families with practical ways to build or rebuild a healthy, loving home and environment.
Becoming a nonprofit will allow us, you and I, to reach more youth and families by increasing opportunities for funding. With more funding we, you and I, will be able to eventually open an Impact Center for youth, provide mentoring, as well as provide parenting skills, practical resources for families and so much more!
When you help my organization become a nonprofit, you aren't investing in me, you're investing in LIVES, theirs and yours. By investing in the ones who need it the most, the ones frequenting juvenile hall or in and out of foster care, you are building your community and our future. Their lives impact our lives.
The funds for this campaign will go towards all filing fees, expenses and the website. Most importantly, I will work with a very credible company who will walk me through the entire process and provide me with 6 months of intense coaching, that will equip me to run a nonprofit effectively.
Your support means so much to me and will mean the world to those who don't know it yet. Your support speaks to your heart and your compassion. It says that you care and love others as much as I do.
