Fanconi Anemia ‌

FA is a rare inherited blood disorder that affects 1 in 350,000. It leads to bone marrow failure. FA prevents your bone marrow from making enough new blood cells for your body to work normally. FA can also cause your bone marrow to make faulty blood cells. This can lead to serious health problems, such as leukemia (a blood cancer). People with FA are also prone to cancer their entire life as its treatable but not curable .

We begin transplant process  start of Jan 2021 . Loads of appointments start as outpatient at Perth Childrens Hospital ,then  she will be admited to have a port early this year  plus bloods transfusions preperation is also tricky

in march or april we will be admitted to perth childrens hospital.

The treatment for this is brutal and complicated as its treated under a different protacol as fa children are very sensative

We will start her chemo  and stem cell transfer she will get his second chance at life,

all our thanks to a donor and pch

The money raised from this will go towards ongoing costs and expenses to help give imi the best care and treatment during her battle

We will be having to relocate from Bunbury to Perth for at least 6 months or more  meaning Rachael canot work in the salon and Russ has been seriously ill an unable to work for nearly 12 months

we will have alot of out of pocket expenses and are doing our best to stay afloat whilst being bedside in an isolation room with imi

With your suport and help it would   relieve some of  the burden we are facing and allow us to spend quality time and focus wholey on our precious daughter imi
