Immigration Fees- Keep Our Family Together

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am fundraising for the extensive fees of renewing my visa to live in the UK with my husband and 5 year old son. The renewal is due by September 9th and I need to apply in August. My husband and son are both British citizens and being unable to renew my visa would effectively separate our family.

My son, Jake, has lived most of his life here and has family, friends, and school connections. I have lived here for a significant time and have a home and important social ties. Should I be unable to pay the fee, I would be required to move back to the United States where I would have nowhere to stay and no access to the lifesaving medication and healthcare that I receive here. My son would be permanently separated from one of his parents. His dad is his best friend in this entire world and every single day we make memories full of happiness and love. My husband and I have been together for almost 8 years now and cannot fathom a life without one another. Breaking our family apart would break each of our souls irreparably.

The application fee and IHS fee total several thousand pounds and cannot be made in payments. We live paycheck-to-paycheck and simply do not have the means to produce this money. We are not eligible for a fee waiver due to the category of visa I am under, and we have no credit to take out a loan. Trust me when I say that we have made accepting donations a last resort, and have exhausted all our other options.

We understand first-hand that times are hard and the cost of living is high right now, so we would be immensely grateful for ANYTHING that you'd be able to give. Even if it's only £1 or $1, it adds up to a big help if enough people can contribute such a small amount. Please, please, please keep our family together. We are everything to one another, and I am putting my trust in your kindness to keep us from losing all of that.

Should we be blessed enough to exceed the goal, every penny thereafter will be donated to charity. If you can't afford to help, just sharing will make a huge difference.
