"Running is my medicine, although they say laughter is the best medicine.

I also love performing standup comedy so the plan to combine both seemed obvious when the thought appeared.

I get my medicine from running and I get to share it in the form of laughter on stage performing standup comedy.

On Friday July 19th this year 2024 I will set off in my running shoes from home in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast and run 100km to Brisbane where I will get on stage for Comedy show #1 of the weekend as part of "Immigrant on the Run".

My show "Immigrant on the Run" will be an hour-ish and we'll have a few special guests perform some of their own standup comedy also to get us warmed up.

The next morning Saturday 20th July I will put back on the running shoes and head south running another 100km Ultra-Marathon to the Gold Coast where I will get back on stage for show #2 of "Immigrant on the Run".

The money raised will go towards 2 amazing charities "St Johns Crisis Centre" an absolute superstar community charity in Surfers Paradise helping homeless people on the Gold Coast and "Orange Sky" who are another awesome homeless charity operating not just on the Gold Coast but Brisbane, Sunshine Coast also.

Money donated will be split 50/50 between the 2 charities and used as they see fit.

Last year St Johns Crisis Centre were able to serve over 39,500 meals to people in need and all because of the Gold Coasts generous community spirit.

I ran 191km on a treadmill at Jett's Mermaid beach in 24 Hours. The Local community really got around the event and it surpassed all my expectations.
