Immigrant & Refugee Support Fund
Donation protected
All funds raised will directly support refugees, and a charitable donation form is available for tax purposes. The donations will be used to purchase and provide priority items as needed—food and hygiene products, legal fees, building supplies, repairs, etc.
My name is Jennifer Trezza, and I'm a global strategist from Washington, DC. I trekked across the United States, arriving at the US/Mexico border on November 3rd to provide pro bono strategy services to organizations helping asylum seekers and immigrants. I am currently collaborating with Cruzando Fronteras (Crossing Borders) which is a humanitarian non-profit in association with the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona.
News headlines in this arena are atrocious, and I am committed to better understanding the realities of our broken system and the lives they affect. After three months of phone calls and networking amid the limitations of COVID-19, I received the green light to work alongside 200+ asylum seekers at the shelter and offer pro bono strategy services to help the organization meet and exceed goals. This immersion will allow me the opportunity to learn and share real time insights, supporting the movement to improve access to basic human rights.
My personal expenses for this endeavor will be covered by my own savings. I am available for consulting and/or full-time work within strategy, marketing and communications. For prospective collaborations, please reach out via the Go Fund Me contact link.
Thank you for your contributions. And may you and your families and communities remain safe, happy and healthy.
Love,
Jennifer
