Immediate Help for Health and Healing Providers

Hello,

I am Anne Friedman. I moved to Maui in 1988 to raise my family and provide them with the quality of life that was filled with beauty and diversity. In our 35 years as members of the local community, Maui has become home.

Watching Lahaina destroyed by fire August 8th was absolutely devastating. The loss of life, homes, vehicles and well, everything is worse than anyone can imagine. To add insult to injury, many of my friends in the health and healing profession, friends who have become family, are now without work and have bills to pay. As private contractors, they are ineligible for unemployment.

My ask is for these vital members of our island community. They are in dire need of funds to cover their immediate and/or monthly expenses. Long term solutions are in the works, but today they need our help.
