Hello, I am Maria Apple from the Philippines and I am currently residing in the US. I respectfully ask for assistance for the people of Uma,Tindog,Medellin after the earthquake, which has left our town in a heartbreaking state.The town of Medellin, Cebu was one of the areas that experienced a 6.9 magnitude earthquake on September 30, 2025, at around 9:59 pm. There are certain areas of the town that require immediate attention,particularly the small communities. They are still feeling the effects of the earthquake.Families are facing tremendous challenges just trying to make ends meet,as they are having a hard time locating food and water.Presently, there is a lack of clean water,food,tent and electricity.Seniors and children are the most impacted, and they experience suffering every hour that goes by without aid.Families are seeking temporary shelter on the streets, basketball court outside their homes due to some of them losing their homes. As time passes,the weight becomes heavier,and the residents of this location are holding on with very little hope. It is painful to see them suffer.

I made this GoFundMe account as a way to help the people there.The amount to be collected will be sent back home.My goal is to acquire basic necessities such as food and water and distribute them with the aid of my friends and family.
