More information about Imara: Imara is an independent specialist service that supports children, young people and their family following a disclosure or discovery of child sexual or domestic abuse. We aim to empower and promote recovery from the trauma of abuse by offering early intervention in the form of: Providing pre-trial therapy; Risk and needs assessment & referral to appropriate services; Information, support & consistent contact throughout the judicial process; Support with education, health, housing & financial concern.
