I’M SHAVING MY HEAD AGAIN!!!

Hi my name is Sav, some of you may already know my beautiful sister Alex has been diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer (Adrenolcortical carcinoma) at just 34 years old. Devastatingly she has recently found out that the cancer has spread and it is now terminal. My sister is married to an amazing man Darian and together they have created the most perfect family, my niece Tiana (7) and nephew Cooper (3).

Some of you may also know that our mother was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia back at the very start of 2020. At that time decided to participate in the worlds greatest shave raising over $5000 for the leukaemia foundation. I also said that I would never do it again for a few silly and superficial reasons. I was pretty sure on that, that is until I found out sister is in for the toughest battle for her life.

Sooooooo……. I have decided to bite the bullet and do it again for my sis!!! This time just a different, instead of working with an existing foundation I thought it would be a better idea to create this page so my sister and her family can choose to spend the money raised on making memories together while they can.

For those of you that are lucky enough to know my incredible and supportive partner Moein, you would know that he is already blessed with a shiny bald head but it’s ok because he has the most luscious beard. As he has no hair on his head to shave he has decided to shave his beard as tribute and have some fun with it as it grows back so stay tuned for that!
