On 12th April, just before I turn the big 4-0, I’ll be taking on the Paris Marathon in support of Movember.
Men die on average four years earlier than women, often from causes that are preventable. Movember is changing that by tackling three of the biggest issues facing men today: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. With the right awareness and support, these don’t have to be the statistics they are.
Training for a marathon is tough — especially when it’s my first since 2013, and I’m doing it with a newborn baby, very little sleep, and working US hours — but it’s nothing compared to what so many men and their families go through every day.
If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution will help keep me going through the sleepless nights, the early runs, and those final, gruelling miles in Paris. Knowing it’s for such an important cause will make every step worthwhile.
Thank you so much for your support — it really means a lot.
