On May 18th, I'll be running the Manchester Half Marathon for ALL FM. What the heck are you doing that for, I hear you scream.

Well, let me tell you a little about ALL FM. ALL FM is a community radio station and so much more. ALL FM trains people in the Greater Manchester communities who are at risk of being isolated. Training in radio production culminates in a live show. After that we offer them the opportunity to host a regular show on ALL FM.

We have shows hosted by young people, older people, those on the Autism Spectrum, with a disability, carers, women, LGBTQ, as well shows in a variety of languages.

How can radio & radio training change lives? It develops all sorts of skills; communication, IT, employability. It develops self confidence. And gives people a voice, often those who have no voice.

We have changed lives and wish to continue to do so. We're also the Community Radio Station of the Year (again).
