I’m running again…This time for Charity!
This October, I’ve decided to put myself through 26.2 miles of pain again by running the Battersea Marathon. Why? Half because I don’t learn from past experiences and the other half (more importantly) because I’m raising money for Lupus UK.
Someone very close to me has recently been diagnosed with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that’s incredibly tough to live with and not nearly well enough understood. Lupus UK does amazing work supporting those affected and funding the research that’s so badly needed.
So, while I’m out there attempting to beat my previous time of 3:46:10 (pray for me), I’d massively appreciate any donations you can spare, every penny goes to a genuinely brilliant cause.
Thanks for reading, and wish me luck! I’ll need it by mile 18 when I’m regretting my life choices.
