I’ve decided to take on the challenge of a full marathon (Richmond RUN-FEST on 13 Sep 26) to raise money for my step-daughter, Lucy. In 2027, she has the amazing opportunity to travel to Zanzibar for a volunteer trip. It’s an important and inspiring goal for her. She will be volunteering at local schools as well as helping to build new buildings and bathrooms. The least I can do is subject my legs to a few hours of pain to help her get there, right?!..

​While I'm pounding the pavements and trying to find yet another podcast to distract me from my body's cries for help, Lucy will be working hard to make this trip a reality
