Hello , ordinarily I'll do a charity run each year for a worthy cause and try and make a difference in that respect.

This year it's Kielder Marathon on October 5th.

I'll waddle round but I'll complete it.

I recently had a conversation with a fundraising Manager from a large National charity and she said 'it's the little local charities that get forgotten and often are the ones that deliver an outstanding service and care to those they exist for'.

That has stuck with me . So this year I'd like to help Trevor and Pam and their small team at PACT. In brief , as a couple they sold everything they had to create this escape for families who would otherwise be completely fractured and ripped apart.

Often in domestic situations it's having the emotional grounding and support to be able to be a happy family.

Trevor and Pam realised this and created this very wonderful sanctuary for struggling families to reset, rebuild and most importantly stay together.

I've visited this charity on several occasions and it is truly wonderful and unique . Your support for these selfless people is hugely appreciated.
