My name is Tamang. I was born in Trishuli, Nepal, and I am reaching out to ask for your urgent help. This weekend, I am running a trail marathon in Edinburgh to raise crucial funds for my hometown.

On 26 August, catastrophic floodwaters swept through Trishuli, Nuwakot. Streets turned into surging rivers in minutes, destroying homes, washing away basic necessities, and leaving hundreds of people missing.

The damage is devastating, and families are currently struggling without shelter, clean water, or essential supplies.

The situation on the ground is critical. While the people of Nuwakot are deeply resilient, they cannot rebuild their lives alone. The fund will be used to purchase and supply critical equipment to the community.
