I’m taking on Direct Relief’s Move for Maternal & Newborn Health challenge this September! My goal is to complete 30 hours of movement while raising awareness and funds to support Direct Relief’s work.

Every mother deserves access to safe, quality care before, during, and after childbirth. Yet around the world, many women and newborns still face barriers to lifesaving healthcare. Direct Relief works alongside frontline healthcare providers, providing the essential medicines, supplies, and tools they need to help more mothers and babies thrive.

This campaign makes me think of a quote from one of my favorite U2 songs, Crumbs From Your Table, "Where you live should not decide whether you live or whether you die."
