We are the Fire Conclave Documentarians — the photographers who follow our artists into the dark year after year. In today’s world so many images that are created are only seen on small screens on personal devices. Fire performers need to be seen life sized to truly appreciate their presence and the space they occupy.
In 2026 we will build six aluminum lightboxes, each housing a 4×6 foot back-lit portrait of a Fire Conclave performer. These photos will honor the commitment and community of the fire performers who come to Burning Man every year.
They will be displayed together on The Fire Conclave Council's gallery wall in Center Camp with a custom handcrafted Fire Conclave logo sign at the center — glowing, cinematic, impossible to walk past. This is a gift to the community and tens of thousands of people will walk by and see these custom pieces.
Every dollar raised goes directly to materials. We will be building these in Reno, Nevada at the Reno Generator.
We would love your help creating this art project. Because this is not for one individual but a group of artists, we are asking for support from our communities. We are building this with top quality UV printing and fully enclosed reusable Aluminum frames. Your support will help us bring this vision to life and honor the Fire Conclave performers in a way that is truly unforgettable.
