Illuminate Kinderhook for the Holidays!

Update: Wow, this is fantastic! We achieved our goal in less than 48 hours thanks to the generosity and kindness of our neighbors and friends. We are so appreciative of your financial support. We will leave this fundraiser open for a few more days……the more dollars the more lights we can buy to illuminate the Village Square! This will make the Village glow with Brightness and Cheerfulness for the Holidays thanks to you!

GREETINGS FROM THE KINDERHOOK BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION!

As the holiday season approaches, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and on all of the exciting community events we’ve hosted. From Candlelight Night to the Kinderhook Farmers Market to Fall Festival to the People’s Parade to Movie Night at The School and more, as an organization we have committed ourselves to honoring our community’s traditions, while introducing new and innovative ways to bring our community together and help Kinderhook’s businesses thrive.

This season we are embarking on a project that will illuminate our historic Village Square in a new way that we hope will bring joy to all.

From Thanksgiving to the New Year, our lighting project will illuminate the facades of participating historic buildings located around Kinderhook’s Village Square by outlining the buildings’ rooflines with sparkling, energy-efficient white LED holiday lights.

We invite you to join us in making this holiday season joyful and bright by making a contribution. Your generous contribution will enable us to hire a company to install the lights for the 2023 holiday season.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us reach our goal of raising $2,500 by NOVEMBER 15, 2023.
