Initiate Justice's 3rd Birthday!

Initiate Justice is turning three years old on September 20th, and we are trying to raise $1 for every member we have inside: 19,000 and counting! (When we started this fundraiser two months ago, we had 17,500 members.)
Here's some of the great things we've been able to accomplish:
-Sent quarterly resources to 19,000 members inside, and responded to their questions and suggestions on an ongoing basis.
-Trained 160 Inside Organizers to lead organizing and policy work inside. And our Inside Organizers just launched a newsletter for themselves called "Initiate Justice: Within" so they can share their ideas and visions with each other.
-Trained 70 Outside Organizers in SoCal and NorCal through the Institute of Impacted Leaders to organize our community, build our collective power, and make our presence felt with legislators.
-Repealed the Felony Murder Rule (SB 1437), and spearheaded ACA 6, which will put a measure on the 2020 ballot to restore voting rights to everyone on parole. We are also close to passing AB 45 to permanently end copays for medical care in prisons and jails statewide, and AB 965 to allow people sentenced as youth to apply credits towards getting an earlier parole hearing date.
