The raised money will go to two things:

1) replace my dad’s leather trousers that were cut after a crash

2) commission a leather artist to repair and create a fashion piece to the damaged pair.

It's not just about a pair of leather trousers, it's about re-building an estranged relationship full of hurt and distance. We spent the last year working on forgiveness, acceptance, boundaries and love, which illuminated both our lives.

Dad is currently in a rest home recuperating from a broken shin, collarbone, ribs and a shattered heel. It will be some time before he can get off of the morphein to be able to write a sentence that makes any sense.
