Hi, my name is Jemma. I will completing the GREAT SOUTH RUN 5k to help raise money for Identical School of Dance to help towards their 10 year anniversary show.

Identical is a dance school in Portsmouth for children/young adults who have disabilities and/or additional needs.

My daughter has been attending since she was 4years old and is now 11. She absolutely loves it.

Not only has she gained so much confidence, and made some amazing friendships. She is able to be HERSELF!

As a parent of a child with SEND it is very hard to find somewhere that our children can be comfortable enough for this to happen. Identical is definitely one of these places.

goes above and beyond for all of her students. Taking time to make things such as schedules to use in class when it’s needed, adapting dances so ALL students are able to participate no matter their abilities.

No one is left out!!

Identical has been running for 10years in 2026, and students will be performing lots of their favourite dances from over the years.

This will be performed in a local theatre, on a real stage with lights and costumes etc and the students love it!!

Especially when they can show their family and friends all the hard work they have been putting in.

So to help towards this, I will be doing the Great South Run 5k in Oct and would like to raise what I can to help this amazing school.
