On October 13th, 2025, our Brotherhood suffered a heartbreaking loss. Hayden Christopher, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud IBEW Local 2286 Lineman, was tragically taken from us in the line of duty after coming in contact with energized electrical lines.
Hayden dedicated his life to keeping the lights on, braving storms, long hours, and dangerous conditions with the quiet courage and pride that define our trade. His commitment to his brothers and sisters on the line, and his deep love for his family, will never be forgotten.
He leaves behind his wife, Maranda, and their young son Kade, who now face a road ahead that no family should have to travel alone.
This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden for Maranda and Kade by helping cover immediate needs, future expenses, and giving them the space to grieve and heal without worry.
As a brotherhood and a community, we stand shoulder to shoulder in times like this. Let’s come together to honor Hayden’s memory and show his family that the IBEW bond extends far beyond the job site. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a reflection of love, respect, and solidarity.
Rest easy Brother. We’ll do our best to take it from here.
