Hi, my name is Miguel Angel Ortega and I am fundraising on behalf of my son Ian who has been battling Leukemia since he was 3 years old. He is seven years old now and is now in need of a Bone Marrow transplant. Which, thank God that I am a match.

Our son's medical journey began in Mexico but as years past by, his medical condition worsened. The level of his sickness is very aggressive, and his body is deteriorating due to the intensive chemotherapy treatments. My wife and I sold what we could and made our way to Texas where my sister allowed us to borrow a car, and we drove here to California (with very little in our pockets) to give our son a fighting chance at life again.

As you can imagine, this medical journey is physically, mentally, emotionally devastating and has placed us in financial debt, immensely. However, our son Ian, is a warrior of life and we believe that God has a purpose for him.

We can really use your help. My wife and I have not been able to work, because we are constantly at our son's bedside at the hospital (UC Davis Medical Center). He is in ICU.

Any little bit you can give is greatly appreciated and your prayers as well is comforting. Please, if you can share this with others, that too is appreciated.
