IAMTHEM STOP THE VIOLENCE

With all of the violence going on around the world and in our communities, it can be difficult for our youth to focus on the positives. As violence becomes a bigger issue each and every day, there has to be something to motivate our youth, as they are the future. Hello how are you ? My name is Aaliyah Stewart . I am 19 years old ! My freshmen year I started a 501C3 organization in honor of my two brothers That were killed to gun violence.Along with my foundation I have a movement called #IAMTHEM which means I am my youth letting them know no matter what you go through or where you come from you have potential ! While sharing my story through motivational speaking Iamthem.org. I am opening a youth center in my home town of Gary , IN to help decrease and bring awareness to the gun violence in my community ! I love to share with young people about how losing a loved one to gun violence can be turned positive .
