Iain Hughes (Hughesy) memorial 400mile swim

Hello my name is phil and at the beginning of the year I took on a 300 mile endurance swim in one year challenge through garmin connect, at the time it was a personal challenge but on the 20th June 2023 a friend, swimming buddy, and firefighter colleague took on a challenge of his own for charity to swim solo across the English Channel, tragically Iain was lost some way into the challenge and subsequently paid the ultimate price I would like to dedicate my 300 mile in 12 month endurance swim to Iain’s memory and try and raise as much as I can to help his young family at this sad time, so please dig deep and let’s see if we can raise a few quid.
