WE NEED A NEW BUS!
We are a voluntary based non-profit organisation who over the last 4 years have been impacting the young people in our community in Andover by giving them ‘Somewhere to go, Something to do, Someone to talk to’.
We believe in giving our time to be positive role models and offering a different way of living, helping to continue to support and witness the reduction of antisocial behaviour in Andover. We have built good relationships with the local council and police, and are seeing hope being restored in the lives of young people who often don’t see a bright future.
Over the last 3 and a half years we have been running the i:61 - Bus of Hope in Andover (as per picture) and have impacted and seen positive changes in many young lives by being a consistent presence in the most deprived areas of our town and also participating in town wide events such as “Inspire skate jam”, “A_Fest”, “The carnival”, “JazzieFest” and many more.
Sadly we have been off the road for a while now as our current bus has needed repairs. Due to its age (bus is 37 years old!), we cannot obtain the parts to fix her and so have been forced into the painful decision to replace for a newer bus. This is the reason for the fundraiser.
Everyone who is involved at any level is a volunteer who gives their time to help young people, therefore 100% of the funds raised will go straight into a replacement bus and investing in the young people.
Please get behind this vision to support young people in Andover and help us get back on the road ASAP!
Many thanks for your support, it truly means so much.
