We noticed you may be trying to raise money for the crisis in the Middle East.

Our main goals are always to protect donors and make fundraisers safe and successful.

Please be sure to include the following information in your fundraising story - the more transparent your story and detailed your responses, the easier it is for us to review the fundraiser:

1. Who you are

2. Where you're from

3. The full names of the individuals or organizations you are seeking to support or aid, where they're located, and your relationship with them

4. How the funds will be spent and how you plan to get them to the beneficiary

Please note that fundraising is not allowed for any armed conflict efforts regardless of the country. This includes funding weapons, protective gear, defensive equipment, goods and services for soldiers, territorial defense or security forces, propaganda efforts, and travel to participate in any armed conflict except as authorized for individual travel by a national government.

If you are raising funds to send to a nonprofit organization, we will need you to invite them as the beneficiary in order for them to receive the donations. Additionally, they may be required to provide us additional information to complete our review.

We may ask for more information during the course of our review, which will be sent to you via email. Please be as detailed as possible in your replies.

Medical Appeal for Assistance

My name is Lama Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Hajin from Gaza. I am an engineering student.

On August 6, 2024, while sitting in a displacement tent during the war, I was struck by shrapnel from a missile, which caused an open fracture and severe tissue damage in my left thigh. Due to the lack of proper medical care, I suffered from severe infections and ongoing complications.

For months, I endured immense pain without adequate treatment. Eventually, I managed to leave Gaza with the help of the World Health Organization, and I have been in Egypt for the past two weeks. However, I am still in urgent need of humanitarian assistance to receive the necessary medical treatment.

I love life and long to heal so that I can continue my journey as a healthy and active individual. I appeal to kind and compassionate hearts that can offer me the help I desperately need.

اسمي لمى أحمد إبراهيم الهجين من غزة. طالبة هندسة.

في 6 أغسطس/آب 2024، وبينما كنتُ أجلس في خيمة نزوح خلال الحرب، أُصبتُ بشظايا صاروخ، مما تسبب في كسر مفتوح وتلف شديد في أنسجة فخذي الأيسر. وبسبب نقص الرعاية الطبية المناسبة، عانيتُ من التهابات حادة ومضاعفات مستمرة.

لشهور، عانيتُ من ألم شديد دون علاج كافٍ. في النهاية، تمكنتُ من مغادرة غزة بمساعدة منظمة الصحة العالمية، وأقيم في مصر منذ أسبوعين. ومع ذلك، ما زلتُ بحاجة ماسة إلى مساعدة إنسانية لتلقي العلاج الطبي اللازم.

أعشق الحياة وأتوق إلى الشفاء لأتمكن من مواصلة رحلتي كشخص سليم ونشيط. أناشد القلوب الطيبة والرحيمة التي يمكنها أن تقدم لي المساعدة التي أحتاجها بشدة.
