I want to fulfill my Mother’s dying wish.

I am a disabled woman living a modest life in Montana. I live on a very fixed income which barely covers my basic living expenses. I am grateful for what I have. My family and friends have always meant so much to me. I like to help others, and despite my limited resources, I still try to find ways to do what I can for others. That gives me great joy.
My elderly Mother and a few family members live in New York, and I haven’t been able to visit in a long time. The last time I saw my Mom, she was strong and active. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with dementia about five years ago. The illness has left her frail and she had to move to a nursing home six months ago. I keep in touch with my Mother by phone and occasional video chat. Mom frequently asks where I am and when I will be coming to see her. She doesn’t understand that I live far away and my situation.
The staff at the nursing home also tell me that my Mom asks for me often.
I truly believe that my Mom is hanging in there, waiting to see me again one day, and it breaks my heart.
Asking for money is not something I do, and yet at this point, it seems like the only thing I can do. I desperately want to go visit my Mom before she passes away. I am asking for money to cover my round-trip airfare, a modest motel and other miscellaneous expenses.
I would be truly grateful for anything anyone can spare to help make me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
