I need to see a man about a horse...

Hello, I'm David Conger. I am starting this fundraiser to raise money for the non-profit organization Camp Fern Legacy. Camp Fern Legacy is needing money to build a herd of horses that will be used every summer for their wonderful riding program. The Camp Fern Legacy riding program utilizes 15 horses to serve over 200 campers every summer. The horses will be utilized for flat work lessons where students learn horsemanship, skills of tacking and care for the horse. In the ring, students move forward learning how to walk, trot, and canter. CFL has access to 150 acres of additional land for student to use in their in ring skills on trail rides. They are currently hosting a fundraiser where any donation of $2,000 or more will allow the donor to name a horse.

This is where we come in.. I would like to raise at least $2,000 to name a horse after my late brother Robert "Springer" Conger. My brother passed away on May 29th, 2024. As a child, he attended Camp Fern Legacy and excelled in their riding program. He was famous for being able to jump or "spring" onto the back of a horse without using the stirrups. He gained the nickname "Springer". I think that naming a horse "Springer" would be a wonder way to honor my brother's memory while simultaneously helping a wonderful cause.

So, this fundraiser is two fold. Your donation will go towards honoring Robert's memory in a very special way and will also help hundreds of kids learn the joys of riding every summer.
