Earlier this week, my mom, Jessica Breighner was one of the ICU nurses taken hostage during the tragic shooting at York Memorial Hospital. She has dedicated her life to helping others, showing up every day to care for those in need. But now, after experiencing something so terrifying, she’s the one who needs help.

No one should have to go through what she did, and while I can’t erase the trauma, I want to do everything I can to help her heal. Whether it’s covering therapy costs, taking time off work, or just giving her something to smile about, every little bit will make a difference.
