I collect donations for 25 yr old Sister Shurooq in Gaza

Hello dear people, I am Gisela from Austria.

I started this fundraiser to help a young woman named Shurooq.

For a year I have been in contact with and helping her sister Rima, now a dear and trusted friend,

who asked me to help them with this matter.

The situation for the whole family is disastrous, as you might imagine from a war zone, and they are doing their best to take care of their sick family members but are lacking the most basic needs.

Shurooq wrote a text for all of you to read:

Hello, I am sister Shurooq from Gaza. My family consists of 5 people. Our living conditions are very bad.

Before the war, we lived a very simple life and lacked many possibilities. The war came and increased our suffering in a deadly way.

My father was sick for a long time and his health deteriorated in the midst of this disaster, displacement and homelessness from one place to another. He was unable to walk and it was very difficult because there was no wheelchair or anything to help with mobility. He also lacked the availability of diapers for him and now, back in his half-destroyed home, we need the means to care for him properly so his health will improve again.

We reached a truly catastrophic situation as a result of this war of extermination. We endured a lot of hardships as a result of displacement. One of my sisters was shot in the stomach, which led to her being seriously injured and her spleen was removed. She is no longer herself. Now she needs healthy food, medication, clothes and many other basic necessities, just like my father.
